Privacy

This is a plain-language placeholder, not legal advice, and not a claim of GDPR, SOC 2, or HIPAA compliance.

Account data, resumes, job descriptions, and uploaded files live in the SQLite database and DATA_DIR volume on the machine that hosts this instance.

Google is the identity provider when Google sign-in is configured. Applyfolio stores your name, email, and profile image if Google provides them.

When you generate a tailored resume, draft an application-question answer, or parse a PDF/DOCX, resume content and the job description are sent to xAI to produce structured output.

Soft-deleted jobs and resumes remain in the database until an operator deletes DATA_DIR or the rows. There is no public file serving of uploads.
